Wyoming Colorado Intertie Project is a 180-mile, 345-kV transmission line that originates at Laramie River Station, Wyo., and terminates at Pawnee, Colo. The project, which is sponsored by the Wyoming Infrastructure Authority, will cost $325 million. Construction is set to be complete in 2017. The project will provide 850 MW of firm transmission service across the TOT3 constraint located at the Wyoming-Colorado border.
