Wisconsin-Illinois Reliability Project

The Wisconsin-Illinois Reliability Project involves a new 5-mile, 345-kV transmission line that will tie to an existing line near Pleasant Prairie, WI, and terminate at a new substation in Wadsworth, IL. The project is needed to support growing electrical demand in the region. The project has an estimated cost of $55.8m with an in-service date of late 2021.
