Tuleta to Euler to Coleto Creek

The Tuleta to Euler to Coleto Creek project is a planned 45 to 55 mile, 138-kV transmission line in Bee and Goliad counties, TX. The project is still in early planning stages. As per AEP Texas, the project is necessary to accommodate growing demand from oil and natural gas production in the Eagle Ford Shale that cannot be met by the existing 69-kV facilities in the area. The transmission line would begin at the Tuleta substation in Bee County, Texas, south of Pettus, Texas, and extend east until it reaches the proposed Euler substation near the intersection of Farm-to-Market Road 883 and Wilson Lane in Goliad County, Texas. It is expected construction will begin in May 2017, with the facilities to be complete in June 2018.
