Stamford Reliability Cable Project

The Stamford Reliability Cable Project is a 115-kv underground transmission project which involved 1.5 miles of underground transmission lines from the existing Glenbrook substation on Lincoln Avenue to the existing South End substation on Manhattan Street.  The completed project will improve upon the existing transmission system, while also addressing the region’s growing energy needs. It will also ensure all NERC Reliability Standards are met by the Stamford area. The project was completed at the end of 2014.
