The project was part of the non-firm plan in NYISO 2011 base case. The project involved four new 115 kV lines and is located near and around Saratoga, New York. The project accomodates new manufacturing facilities and improve reliability in the area. The route runsfrom Spier Falls north to Rotterdam approximately 33 miles. A 4 mile spur will run to the east to National Grid’s Ballston Substation. The project came online spring 2013.
