The Second Ramapo to Rock Tavern 345-kV line project is an additional 345-kV line from the Ramapo 345-kV substation to the Rock Tavern 345-kV substation. The project is part of an effort to increase the import capability into Southeastern New York, including New York City, during normal and emergency conditions as well as provide a partial solution for system reliability should the Indian Point Energy Center retire.
