The 345-kV, 40-mile Rusk to Panola Transmission Line Project would extend from the new Rusk switching station in Rusk County – which would be built and owned by Oncor – to the new Panola switching station in Panola County – which would be built by Rusk and owned by Garland. The project will coincide with the planned Southern Cross Transmission Project. The project has an early cost estimate of about $109.9m with a completion date of late 2021.
