Remington to Gordonsville

Dominion Virginia Power is planning transmission upgrades that will resolve electric reliability issues in the Piedmont region west of Interstate 95 and east of Shenandoah National Park in Virginia.  The project involves rebuilding an existing 115-kV transmission line between the existing substations in Madison, Va., and Gordonsville, Va. The existing line will be dismantled and rebuilt on wooden poles to support 230-kV wires.
