Otauwau to Mitsue

The Otauwau to Mitsue Transmission Project was needed to meet growing demand for electricity and to replace aging infrastructure in the Slave Lake area. The project included installing approximately one kilometer of transmission line between an existing transmission line north of the Otauwau Substation and the existing Mitsue Substation. The project also included the installation of a shield wire along the transmission line and minor alterations to both substations, including an expansion of the existing Otauwau Substation site.
