The Northeast Pocono Reliability project is a 57-mile, 230-kV transmission line which will improve reliability and support future growth in Northeast Pennsylvania and the Poconos. In addition to the added 58 mile line, about 11.3 miles of new 138/69-kV lines was also built in order to connect the new West Pocono and North Pocono 230-69-kV substations with the existing 69-kV system. This project was completed on April 20, 2016, at a cost of $350M.
