PPL Electric Utilities will build about 7 to 9 miles of new double-circuit 138/69-kV power line from the new North Lancaster substation southeast to an existing transmission line near the existing Brecknock substation. From the Brecknock substation one circuit will continue south and connect to an existing transmission line south of the Churchtown area. This new line will initially operate at 69 kV, but will be designed for 138 kV to accommodate future load growth. It will supply the Honey Brook, Morgantown and Twin Valley areas. Construction is planned to start in 2015 and end in 2016.
