The Mount Pleasant Tech Interconnection Project involves a new Mount Pleasant substation and multiple transmission interconnects to tie-in the planned substation. These multiple tie-in’s include a set of new double-circuit, 345-kV at a length of 1.2 miles, a second 345-kV line added to an existing 12-mile line between the Racine and Pleasant Prairie substations and finally a new underground, 138-kV line to connect Mount Pleasant to a Foxconn substation. The $120m project is expected to be completed late 2019/early 2020.
