Delmarva Power’s Millington to Townsend Rebuild is a reliability project that involves a $16 million, 12-mile, 138-kV line built on the existing right-of-way. Construction begin in Delaware in July 2013 and in Maryland in August 2013 and completed early 2014. The project involved the rebuild of the existing circuit and replacement of wooden poles with weathering steel poles.
