Bonneville Power Adminstration is planning to rebuild a 34-mile, 115-kV transmission line in Benton and Yakima Counties. The existing line between the Midway and Moxee substations is greatly deteriorated and in need of replacement. The new line would most likely run within the same corridor and be rated at the same 115-kV. Construction will begin in September 2016 and will be completed in spring 2018. According to THUB calculations, the project has an estimated cost of $34m.
