The Martinsville to Chireno project involves a new 138-kV transmission line in Nacogdoches County, TX. The project is needed to provide a looped transmission service to its cooperative members. The preferred route of the project involves 11 miles of new right-of-way at a cost of $11.7m. Tex-La Electric Cooperative of Texas expects to energize the line by summer 2019.
