LCRA TSC will upgrade the capacity of an existing 6.5-mile, 138-kilovolt (kV) transmission line by replacing all of the conductor and structures. The project’s purpose is to better accommodate significant load growth in the area. It will cost $8 Million, with construction planned to start in Fall of 2014, and operations in March 2015.
