The Lebanon (Vesta Road) Project is a proposed 6-8 mile, 160-kV transmission line located in the Lebanon, TN, area. The path of the line would originate either from the existing Lebanon-Murfreesboro 160-kV line or the Wilson-Lebanon 160-kV line and terminate at the new Vesta Road substation being constructed by Middle Tennessee EMC. The project is needed to address increasing industrial load in the region. Construction was expected to begin early 2015 and be complete by the end of the year.
