Kiser to Cox

The Kiser to Cox 115-kV transmission line was built to improve electric reliability and increase the capability of the existing transmission grid in and around the city of Plainview. The project consists of approximately 8 to 12 miles of new 115-kV transmission line between the Kiser Substation located at the intersection of Date Street and East 24th Street in Plainview and the Cox Substation, located south of the intersection of County Road 95 and County Road EE southeast of Plainview. The project costed $6.4m and was put into service March 2014.
