This is the second phase of a project to open up Northwestern Ontario to lower cost and cleaner energy. Currently businesses and communities depend on diesel generators for electric load. The phase of the project involves multiple circuits of 230 kV, 115 kV and 44 kV lines. The project is in the same area as Hydro One’s Northwest Transmission Expansion project. This is sponsored by Morgan Geare and two of the First Nations.
