Hudson Transmission Project is a 8-mile, 345-kV transmission line, originating at Bergen substation, N.J., and terminating at West 49th Street Substation, N.Y. The project was built by Hudson Transmission Partners LLC who is responsible for $172 million in network upgrades to the PJM transmission system and $16 million in system upgrades. Total construction costs for the projects are estimated at $850 million. Construction of the project began in May 2011 and was finished June 2013.
