Hereford to White Deer Line

The Hereford to White Deer Line is a 91-mile line, 345-kV single circuit (built on poles capable of double circuit) transmission line, originates at the Hereford substation in Deaf Smith County, Texas, and terminates at the White Deer station in Carson County, Texas. The transmission line, sponsored by Sharyland Utilities, cost approximately $134.6 million. Construction on the project started in September 2011 and was completed in August 2013. Sharyland Utilities is a subsidiary of Hunt Consolidated Energy a division of Hunt Consolidated Inc. of Dallas, Texas.
