Haysi Transmission Line Rebuild Project

The Haysi Transmission Line Rebuild involves replacing approximately 7 miles of existing 69-kV transmission line of a line that starts near the Kentucky – Virginia border and ends by the Haysi substation. The line does continue slightly south from the Haysi crossing and ends at Providence Drive, just north of Clinchco, VA. The $15m is expected to ensure reliability in the region and to be energized mid-2019.
