Gray to White Deer

Gray to White Deer is a 42-mile, 345-kV transmission line, originating at Gray and terminating at White Deer, Texas. The transmission line, sponsored by Cross Texas Transmission, is had a baseline cost estimate of $70.6 million. Construction began in November 2011 and was completed February, 2013. The final in service date was August 2013. The project is designed to move renewable energy and improve reliability. Cross Texas Transmission is part of the LS Power Group.
