The Grants Creek to Jacksonville North Line Project involves a new 12.4-mile, 230-kV transmission line near Jacksonville, NC. The project will provide increased capacity to meet the electric needs of the region with an estimated cost of $40m. Duke Energy expects to complete the line by 2020.
