East Abilene to Putnam is a 32-mile, 138-kV transmission line, originating at East Abilene and terminating at Putnam, Texas. Built by Electric Transmission Texas LLC, the transmission line cost $15.2 million and enables greater renewable energy delivery, reliability and system stability.The line was placed in service on June 19, 2012.
