TransCanyo is proposing a the new Cross-Tie 500-kV Transmission Line project between Utah and Nevada. The 213-mile line between central Utah and east-central Nevada within existing designated West-Wide Energy Corridors is needed to strengthen the electrical interconnection between the PacifiCorp and the NV Energy transmission systems, while supporting inter-regional power transfers by linking the NTTG and WestConnect planning regions.
