Connecticut River Valley Project

The Connecticut River Valley Project involves reconductoring and rebuilding a line between the Coolidge and Ascutney substations. The Chealsea substation near Weathersfield, VT will be rebuilt as well. The project is intended to improve local and regional system reliability. Construction is expected to begin in Spring 2017, with completion in late 2017 or early 2018.  This transmission project has an estimated cost of $122.5m.
