Bakersfield to Big Hill Line

Bakersfield to Big Hill Line is a 112-mile, 345-kV transmission line, originating at Bakersfield and terminating at Big Hill, Texas. The transmission line was estimated to cost approximately $137.3m and was completed in August 2013. The line enables the transfer of electric power between the two substations and potentially provide injection points for area generation for transfer to load centers.
