Bailey – Jones Creek Project

The Bailey – Jones Creek Project involves a new double-circuit, 345-kV transmission line between the existing Bailey and Jones Creek substations in Brazoria, Matagorda, and Wharton counties. The new line would travel 107.6 to 168.6 miles and is needed to address increased industrial growth near Freeport, TX. Centerpoint Energy expects to complete the line in 2022 at an estimated cost of $575.3m.
