LS Power Grid New York, NYPA authorized to proceed with construction on part of 93-mile transmission project

New York regulators on Jan. 21 issued a certificate of environmental compatibility and public need to LS Power Grid New York, LLC and LS Power Grid New York Corporation I, as well as the New York Power Authority, authorizing the construction and operation of the project, which involves the construction of a 345-kV transmission line starting in Marcy and terminating in Albany
