LaFleur: ‘Substantial’ buildout of transmission grid needed in light of increased renewables, electrification

Since it is difficult to build generation or transmission anywhere, especially in some of the regions with the most progressive goals, former FERC Commissioner and Chairman Cheryl LaFleur said that “we’ll need to better communicate to the public the tie between construction of new resources and climate goals.”
