FERC revises regulations governing QFs under PURPA

FERC Commissioner Richard Glick issued on July 16 a statement dissenting in part, stating, “I dissented from the NOPR in large part because I believe that it is not the commission’s role to sit in judgment of a duly enacted statute and determine whether it has outlived its usefulness.”
