Georgia regulators approve procurement strategy for 50 MW of new biomass

The state Public Service Commission said in its order that “new” biomass generation for purposes of the procurement will be defined as “a greenfield biomass facility or any new capacity additions to existing biomass generation that must begin construction after the RFP issuance date”
