Grover Hill Wind to seek regulatory approval in Ohio for proposed wind facility

A public information meeting will be held on March 19 in Haviland, Ohio, Grover Hill Wind said on Feb. 24

Grover Hill Wind, LLC on Feb. 24 filed with the Ohio Power Siting Board a pre-application notification letter regarding its plan to apply for a certificate of environmental compatibility and public need in order to build a wind energy facility in Paulding County, Ohio.

The facility is expected to have a maximum total generating capacity of up to 150 MW, Grover Hill Wind said.

A public information meeting will be held on March 19 in Haviland, Ohio. Grover Hill Wind also said that it anticipates filing its application for the certificate within 90 days after that meeting.

Construction of the Grover Hill Project is estimated to begin in 1Q21, resulting in commercial operations in 4Q21.

Grover Hill Wind also noted that at this time, it does not anticipate that it will file any requests for waiver from the board’s rules regarding the wind facility.
