Xcel Energy: Construction began in December on 345-kV Eddy-Kiowa line in New Mexico

As noted in Xcel Energy’s newsletter, as part of the Power for the Plains effort, the company has invested in more than 1,300 miles of new transmission lines since 2011 in New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma, with another 200 miles of transmission line planned to be built through 2021
