The project cost estimate for the line is about $18.8m, the filing said, noting that the project cost estimate for line termination at the AEP Texas Rio Hondo switch station and for line termination at the proposed Majadas substation is about $3.2m.
Niagara Mohawk Power d/b/a National Grid on Feb. 5 provided to the New York State Public Service Commission notice of the company’s intention to begin construction of the West Ashville substation project on Feb. 18.
The estimated costs are about $6.1m for the proposed line along modified route H, as well as about $4.6m for the East Rio Hondo substation facilities and the Palmas switching station facilities, according to the filing.
All of the 12 projects are located in the PG&E service territory and are comprised of 10 smaller projects each less than $50m, totaling $168m, as well as two dynamic voltage support projects totaling $440m, according to the “Draft 2018-2019 Transmission Plan.”
American Transmission Company also provided an update to Wisconsin regulators on its Caldron Fall-Goodman (J-88) Project, telling the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin that that project’s planned in-service date is June 2020.
American Transmission Company on Jan. 30 filed with the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin a quarterly progress report for the period Oct. 1, 2018 through Dec. 31, 2018, noting that the planned in-service date for its Bunker Hill-Blackbrook (M13) Project is 1Q19.
The filing noted that to deliver electricity to the state power grid, High Bridge proposes to build a collection substation that may include up to 5 MW of battery storage, as well as a short, 115-kV, overhead electrical transmission line – less than five miles long.
