Southern California Ed files interconnect for 3-MW Lendlease solar project

Southern California Edison on Jan. 6 filed at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission a Generator Interconnection Agreement with Lendlease California City Solar LLC for a 3-MW solar project.

Lendlease wants to interconnect a 3-MW solar photovoltaic facility named the Lendlease California City Solar Project, to be located in California City, California, to SCE’s exiting pole, which is located approximately 9.0 circuit miles from SCE’s Goldtown 66/12kV Substation connected to the Boxcar 12 kV circuit and transmit energy to the California Independent System Operator-controlled grid.

The developer proposes a commercial operation date of Aug. 30, 2017.
