Apex affiliate registers 15-MW Phantom Solar project in Texas

Phantom Solar LLC, the developer of a power project in Bell County that will interconnect into the Oncor system, on Jan. 6 registered with the Public Utility Commission of Texas as a new power generator.

Said the filing: “Phantom Solar, LLC will generate and sell electricity at wholesale. However, the 15.4 MW solar generation facility owned by Phantom Solar, LLC is located on the premises of the U.S. Army Military Garrison at Fort Hood, will not be interconnected into ERCOT, and will not transmit electricity into the ERCOT grid.”
