Another power storm expected to hit California, the West

A strong weather system will affect California and Nevada through Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.

Flooding is occurring, or expected, on several rivers lasting through mid-week. Lower snow levels will bring difficult, if not impossible travel conditions to the trans-Sierra passes. Elsewhere, a winter storm is forecast for the upper Midwest and Great Lakes. Freezing rain is possible in parts of the northeast.
