PJM files interconnect for 10-MW Greenwich Solar project in New Jersey

PJM Interconnection on Dec. 12 filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission an executed Interconnection Service Agreement (ISA) with Greenwich Solar W2-091 LLC and interconnecting transmission owner Jersey Central Power & Light.

The Greenwich Solar ISA facilitates the interconnection to the PJM system of 10 MW (Maximum Facility Output) at the Stewartsville Solar Farm located on Route 57 in Stewartsville, N.J. The Greenwich Solar ISA indicates that Greenwich Solar shall have 3.6 MW of Capacity Interconnection Rights commencing June 1, 2020, at the Point(s) of Interconnection specified in the Greenwich Solar ISA. Greenwich Solar may also be awarded interim Capacity Interconnection Rights.

The Greenwich Solar ISA supersedes a Wholesale Market Participation Agreement (WMPA) among PJM, Greenwich Solar and JCP&L for PJM Queue Position #W2-091, filed with and accepted by the commission in 2015. The project now has PJM Queue Position #AB2-058.

On or before Dec. 31, 2016, Greenwich Solar must demonstrate commercial operation of all generating units.

Project contact information is: Greenwich Solar W2-091 LLC c/o Conergy Projects Inc., 1801 NE 123rd St., Suite 421, North Miami, FL 33181.
