PJM ends interconnect deal for 20-MW Chesapeake Solar project in Virginia

PJM Interconnection on Dec. 1 notified the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission of the cancellation of an executed Interconnection Service Agreement (ISA) with Chesapeake Solar LLC and interconnecting transmission owner Virginia Electric and Power that was filed with FERC on Sept. 7 of this year.

“The Chesapeake Solar ISA is being cancelled at Chesapeake Solar’s request,” PJM noted.

The solar photovoltaic project was under PJM Queue Position #AA2-180. It was to be located at Hwy 17 and Ballahack Road, Chesapeake, Virginia. The Maximum Facility Output was 20 MW.
