Wet weather possible in much of East over weekend

A front extending from the Southeast to the Central Gulf Coast will move southeastward off Florida by Saturday morning.  Rain and embedded thunderstorms will develop along and ahead of the boundary from the Southern Mid-Atlantic to the southeast Florida Coast by Saturday evening.

In addition, upper-level energy moving over the Northeast will aid in producing rain showers over parts of the Northeast through Friday afternoon.  Overnight Friday, another area of upper-level energy will move the Northeast producing rain showers on Saturday through Saturday evening.
