NextEra registers 20-MW DG AMP Solar Bowling Green project in Ohio

Filed Nov. 8 at the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio was an application by DG AMP Solar LLC for certification as an eligible renewable energy facility for the 20-MW (ac) DG AMP Solar Bowling Green, to be located at 16520 Carter Road, Bowling Green, Ohio.

The project will contain 85,680 Hanwha Q.PLUS L-G4.2 335 – 335W (STC) photovoltaic modules and 20 General Electric Prosolar 1 MVA – 1000 kW photovoltaic inverters. The project will interconnect to the Dunbridge substation owned and operated by Bowling Green Municipal Utility. The projected in-service date for the facility is Jan. 7, 2017.
