20-MW Western Antelope Blue Sky Ranch B solar project reaches completion

Western Antelope Blue Sky Ranch B LLC, which has just completed a 20-MW (ac) solar project in California, on Nov. 18  notified the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission of an Oct. 31 ownership change resulting from the acquisition by SPW Solar Holdings 3 LLC (SPW3) of 100% of the membership interests in this project company.

JPM Capital Corp. has acquired an indirect, passive interest in Western Antelope Blue Sky Ranch B as a result of the transaction. As holder of Class A Units, JPM Capital has limited consent and veto rights over major corporate actions necessary to protect its investments.

This project company owns and operates a solar photovoltaic project with a nameplate rating of about 20 MW (ac) located in Lancaster, Los Angeles County, California. The WABSRB Project is within the California Independent System Operator balancing authority area.

The WABSRB Project achieved mechanical completion in October 2016. The project company is committed to sell the entire output of the WABSRB Project under a 25-year power purchase agreement with the City of Palo Alto.

This project company is still, after this sale of passive interests, part of FTP Power LLC.
