34-MW Innovative Solar 67 project in North Carolina changes hands

Innovative Solar 67 LLC on Oct. 7 notified the North Carolina Utilities Commission of a change in ownership for it and its 34.4-MW (ac) photovoltaic project.

In August 2014, the commission entered an order Issuing a Certificate of New Renewable Energy Facility and accepting a renewable energy registration for this facility. The Oct. 7 notice said the projected on-line date is in December 2017. The project site is at 1001 Shiloh Rd., Willard, Pender County, North Carolina.

The sole member of Innovative Solar 67 is now Heelstone Development LLC, which is managed by Heelstone Energy Holdings LLC. Its business address is: 191 W Nationwide Blvd., Suite 600, Columbus, OH 43215, legal@heelstoneenergy.com, telephone number (225) 408-3000.

This project is a 34.4-MW (ac) solar PV field consisting of 152,000 Trina Solar PV modules (or equivalent) connected to 18 SMA 2000 kW inverters (or equivalent) connecting to the Duke Energy Progress grid. Attached to the Oct. 7 notice is a Form 556 registration for the project filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
