Origis Energy files EWG notices for two new solar projects

Two project affiliates of Origis Energy, FL Solar 1 LLC and A1 Solar A LLC, on Sept. 21 filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission notices of self-certification as Exempt Wholesale Generators.

  • FL Solar 1 is developing and will own and operate a 20-MW (nameplate) solar photovoltaic facility and associated interconnection facilities (the FL Solar 1 Facility) in Tallahassee, Florida. The output of the FL Solar 1 Facility will be sold exclusively to purchasers for resale.
  • A1 Solar A is developing and will own and operate a 72-MW (nameplate) solar photovoltaic facility and associated interconnection facilities (the A1 Solar A Facility) in Chambers County, Alabama. The output of the A1 Solar A Facility will be sold exclusively to purchasers for resale.

No information for either project is given about when the projects will go into operation.
