FLS Energy seeks North Carolina okay for 13.5-MW NJC Solar project

NJC Solar LLC, an affiliate of FLS Energy, applied Sept. 1 to the North Carolina Utilities Commission for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity authorizing construction of a 13.536-MW (ac) solar facility to be located on Sharpe Road at Greensboro in Guilford County.

The projected date for the facility to come on-line is Aug. 15, 2018. All electricity will be sold to Duke Energy Carolinas. The projected annual sales are 25,777,990 AC kWh.
