CleanLight Power + Energy LLC has proposed a solar facility located in Garrett County, Maryland, with a total capability of 13 MW, with 4.9 MW of this output being recognized by PJM Interconnection as capacity
PJM said in a September 2016 study on the project that the proposed in-service date is Dec. 15, 2016. This study does not imply a Potomac Edison commitment to this in-service date. This project, under PJM queue #AB1-065, will interconnect with the Potomac Edison transmission system by tapping the Jennings–Hoyes 34.5-kV line.
The intent of this System Impact Study is to determine a plan, with approximate cost and construction time estimates, to connect the subject generation interconnection project to the PJM network at a location specified by CleanLight. It is a mid-point in the PJM queue process.
