ATOOD Solar IV pursues North Carolina approval for 5-MW project

ATOOD Solar IV LLC applied Sept. 2 at the North Carolina Utilities Commission Application for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity on a 4.99-MW (ac) project to be located at 2201 Mercantile Drive NE at Leland in Brunswick County.

The $10 million project will interconnect to the Duke Energy Progress grid, with the output to be sold to Duke Energy Progress. The projected on-line date is Dec. 31, 2017. The projected annual sales are 11,060,280 kilowatt-hours.
