Tyler Bluff Wind registers 120-MW wind project with Texas PUC

Tyler Bluff Wind Project LLC on July 7 filed with the Public Utility Commission of Texas a registration as a renewable energy credit generator for a 119.6-MW (nameplate) project that is due for commercial operation on Sept. 13, 2016.

The project, located in Cooke County on County Road 424, is made up of 52 Siemens 2.3-MW wind turbines.

Tyler Bluff Wind Project LLC, an EDF Renewable Energy unit, on March 28 registered with the Public Utility Commission of Texas as a new exempt wholesale generator. That notice also said the project is located on County Road 424 in Cooke County. The project will interconnect with Brazos Electric Cooperative in the ERCOT region.
